End of Summer?

It’s nearly half-way through August, so I suppose summer will be ending before you know it. It’s been a hot one (and still is hot!), but I’ll be sad to see it go. I know that fall is the favorite season for at least one of my kids, but I think that mostly has to do with fall and winter holidays. Personally, I love all the extra sunshine of spring and summer. It seems like it helps to keep me in good spirits.

Since AwesomeDoctor has been helping me to get my hormones balanced, I haven’t experience near as much negativity as I used to. But now, I find myself dreading the coming of winter — even before summer is rightly over with. Is that a form of negativity, in itself? Still, the short days, long nights and constant cold are sure to make my down moods more difficult. Yes, the cold is a blessing when you’re hit with the hot flashes and night sweats, but those aren’t the symptoms I’m most concerned about.

I just hope I’m worrying about nothing.

Love and balance,

Teresa

Have you had your vitamin D levels checked? Seasonal depression is real and is often caused by low D levels, even in you live in the south. Here’s more: http://www.womentowomen.com/healthynutrition/vitamind.aspx
