Fleeting Time, Fleeting Memories

Can you believe that today is the last day of August, already? It seems like time flies right by, faster and faster every year. I’ve actually got a theory about that, too.

I reckon that time seems to pass by faster as you get older because you can’t remember as much of it. When you can’t rightly remember something so simple as what you had for lunch yesterday, your days seem to mash up together, so they don’t seem to last as long. After all, if you remember every moment, you’ve got a lot more memories – more bits of time – sitting around in your head. The less you remember, the less time you can recall, the faster time seems to pass.

That’s my theory, anyway.

That’s all for now. Take care, y’all!
