Working Out for the New Year
Since I got shoved on-board the peri-go-round, I’ve been putting on weight. It’s ugly, and I don’t want it! But I just can’t eat like I used to, and keep my normal (not so great) exercise level if I don’t want to plump out. So, this year, I’m really going to try my hardest to keep a good exercise routine!
And my big boy’s gonna help me. 🙂
I love dogs. They’re just awesome. They’re always there for you, and love you even when your hormones are all out of whack and your going off on them and everything else for no really good reason. Plus, they love to walk!
And my dog isn’t some tiny petite little thing that’s happy with a casual stroll ‘round the neighborhood. 🙂 No, I’ve got a big, beautiful, sweetheart of a great dane. In the past, I hadn’t really walked him for as long as he’d like. But since the start of the month, I’ve been doing a lot more! 🙂
Yeah, I’ve been working up from where I started. Every day, we go a little further. This past week, I’ve even been throwing in a few short jogging stints. And he loves it! 🙂
It’s something I’d really recommend. If you’ve got a dog, work him into your exercise routines by giving him longer, more fun walks!
